Style reference

Add your company logo

Work your branding into the softshell.

Choose a chest, sleeve or back position and send us your logo. We’ll recommend a method for the chosen softshell fabric and show how the placement will look.

Illustration of three squares embroidered in cream and blue thread on navy knit fabric.

Plan the stitching through the layers.

Compare chest or sleeve embroidery with the pocket layout. We’ll review the backing, stitch detail and effect on the selected fabric, including any membrane.

Check on the sample

Logo definition, puckering, the inside finish and any effect on the agreed fabric performance.

Discuss your branding
Illustration of thin blue shapes and a cream circle heat-transferred onto navy knit fabric.

Match the transfer to the surface.

Choose a thin, flexible graphic or discuss a raised finish. We’ll check the transfer and application conditions on the actual softshell fabric before confirming the method.

Check on the sample

Adhesion, color, layer thickness, flexibility and any marks on the fabric after application and the agreed wash check.

Discuss your branding
Illustration of a rectangular badge with raised blue and cream shapes and stitched edges on grey knit fabric.

Give the badge a clear position.

Choose silicone or PVC and work through the badge shape, thickness and placement. Agree how it will be attached around the softshell layers and nearby seams.

Check on the sample

Badge flexibility, attachment, panel shape and the finish against the inside of the jacket.

Discuss your branding

Check the ink on your fabric.

Direct printing applies ink to the fabric itself. We’ll assess the chosen surface and artwork before recommending it for a chest mark or larger back design.

Check on the sample

Ink adhesion, coverage, flexibility and the appearance after the agreed care check.

Discuss your branding
Illustration of two silver-grey reflective strips catching the light on dark knit fabric.

Plan the accents with the panels.

Work through reflective strips or smaller accents alongside the pockets, seams and closures. The attachment method needs to suit the selected softshell fabric.

Check on the sample

Placement, attachment and movement. Reflective details alone do not establish certified protective performance.

Discuss your branding

Packing

Each garment is usually bagged separately, then shipped in a five-layer corrugated carton. Tell us if you need anything different.

Further customization

Look beyond the outer fabric.

Compare both sides of the fabric, choose a hood or collar and check how the jacket works over the rest of the uniform.

Look at both sides

Compare nylon and polyester outer fabrics.

Polyester stretch face and reverse

Compare both sides with the nylon option.

Look at a nylon stretch fabric and a polyester stretch fabric alongside their backings. Feel the complete construction before choosing the layers for your jacket.

Nylon stretch face
Compare the face and reverse together. Agree the stretch, backing and finished feel on a physical swatch.
Polyester stretch face
Review this alongside the nylon option. Any membrane, bonding or performance requirement needs its own agreed specification.

Check on the sample

Feel both sides, flex the swatch and check the proposed layer construction.

Shape around your layers

Choose the hood or stand collar.

Start with a clean stand collar or a hooded shape. Plan the neck opening, shoulders and sleeve room around the layers your team will wear.

Neck and hood
Choose the collar height or hood shape, and decide which adjustments would be useful.
Room to move
Check chest and shoulder room over the intended shirt or fleece, with the jacket fully fastened.

Check on the sample

Turn the head and reach forward with the collar or hood in use.

Plan the softshell fit

Clean, practical details

Keep pockets and adjustments within reach.

Pocket zips and cuff adjustments should be easy to use without adding awkward bulk. Check their positions with the jacket fastened over its usual layers.

Zipped pockets
Choose the opening angle and depth around what the wearer carries, with clear space for chest branding.
Cuff and hem adjustment
Discuss where adjustment is useful and check the finish against sleeves, gloves and the waist.

Check on the sample

Use the pockets and adjust the openings while wearing the finished sample.

Discuss a custom design

Before production

Try it over the clothing you use.

A fabric swatch helps with feel. A custom garment sample lets you review the fit, openings and branding together before approving production.

Wear the intended layers

Fasten the jacket over the planned polo, shirt or fleece. Reach, sit and bend, checking sleeve room, body length and any pulling at the back.

Work through the openings

Use the zip, collar, cuffs and pockets. Check how the details feel with the jacket fully fastened and with any intended gloves.

Confirm the material and finish

Review the construction, branding and agreed care or performance checks. Record the measurements and any revisions before approving the custom sample.

Questions about softshell jackets

Ordering & samples.

Choose a style and tell us the quantity you need. We’ll help with your logo, sizing and delivery.

Ask about your project
Are all softshell jackets waterproof?

No. Softshell describes a type of garment, not a waterproof guarantee. Rain protection depends on the chosen material, seams, closures and overall construction. Tell us the conditions or test requirement you need to meet so we can assess an appropriate specification before the order is agreed.

Should we choose a softshell or a fleece?

Tell us whether the garment will be an outer layer or worn under another jacket. Compare the fabric surface, inside feel and any weather requirements with that use in mind. A fleece and softshell can also be developed to work together; we’ll review the combined fit rather than choose from the names alone.

Can you develop a softshell from our own design?

Yes. Choose a style from the website or send your own sketch, photo or existing jacket. We can work through the fabric, backing, fit, collar, pockets and branding with you, then review the details on a custom sample.

What are the minimum quantity and lead time?

Our existing styles with your logo start at 20 pieces per style. Fully custom styles start at 100 pieces per style. You can mix sizes in both. Tell us the quantity and delivery country, and we’ll confirm the production and delivery schedule for your order.

Can we compare materials before developing the jacket?

Yes. Initial fabric swatches or agreed blank garment samples are complimentary; we confirm the items and shipping arrangements first. Design visuals are free. A physical jacket made to your custom design is developed and priced separately.
